This experience will allow the intern to develop the skills necessary for job placement and advancement in the mortgage and financial services industries. The intern will analyze a variety of operational and financial/accounts payable data and learn the daily processes of an corporate operations group. The intern will be provided with a foundation of technical and leadership skills and cross-functional opportunities, which will reinforce and expand classroom learning while preparing them for postgraduate employment. **It is anticipated that the internship program this year will be primarily Remote/Work from Home.  However, we hope to be able to have some opportunities for in-office and in-person activities as well.  As such, candidates within commuting distance of ServiceLink's offices in Moon Township, PA may be given preference.

  • Verify status of HOA, Tax, and Utility accounts; obtain statements and facilitate payments for these accounts
  • Special Internal Projects
  • Update Business Operating Guides
  • In office support
  • Assist with documenting client and business systems

WHO YOU ARE

 

You possess …

 

  • Undergraduate Junior, Senior or Graduate Student; Finance, Statistics, Accounting, Business Administration, Operations, or other Business-related majors preferred
  • Proficient experience in Microsoft Excel, Power Point, Word and Outlook
  • Entrepreneurial thinking. You know how to identify opportunities and discover ways to capitalize on them. You bring fresh and creative ideas to a business need.
  • Creative problem solving. You address challenges in an imaginative and innovative manner. You redefine problems with a solution and take action.

Responsibilities

  • Verify status of HOA, Tax, and Utility accounts
  • Obtain statements for HOA, Taxes and Utilities
  • Facilitate payments for HOA, Taxes and Utilities in a timely manner
  • Assist with documenting client and business systems
  • Benefit from a variety of professional development opportunities that will allow for networking and learning about the company
  • Attend lunch and learns, leadership meet and greets, team building events, and other events of Internship Program

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate Junior, Senior or Graduate Student; Finance, Statistics, Accounting, Business Administration, Operations, or other Business related majors preferred
  • Proficient experience in Microsoft Excel, Power Point, and Word
  • Must be detail-oriented
  • Must possess problem solving, analytical, and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to keep information confidential
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as with a team
