In this role, you will…

 

·        Build relationships with business leaders across all functional areas to understand business objectives and priorities, and to collaboratively develop supporting process improvement initiatives.

·        Examine current business processes and retool/refine as necessary; make strategic recommendations and "sell" to internal and external clients

·        Effectively collaborate with business, marketing, technical and design teams to develop requirements, prioritize enhancements, translate into Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) and Application Change Request (ACR) documents and drive projects to completion.

·        Identify the functional definitions of the system, complete with workflow; impacts to existing applications; and navigation

 

 

WHO YOU ARE

 

 


You possess …

 

·        Two+ years of related work experience – preferably in Financial Services, Mortgage Servicing and Loss Mitigation Experience.

·        Exceptional problem solving skills, listening skills and have a strong attention to detail.

·        Strong written and oral communication skills.

·        Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or Information Systems

·        Experience with all aspects of the Software Development Lifecycle; knowledge of successful software development methodologies and best practices

Responsibilities

·        Build relationships with business leaders across all functional areas to understand business objectives and priorities, and to collaboratively develop supporting process improvement initiatives.

·        Examine current business processes and retool/refine as necessary; make strategic recommendations and "sell" to internal and external clients

·        Effectively collaborate with business, marketing, technical and design teams to develop requirements, prioritize enhancements, translate into Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) and Application Change Request (ACR) documents and drive projects to completion.

·        Identify the functional definitions of the system, complete with workflow; impacts to existing applications; and navigation.

·        Design preliminary user interface mockups, visual models, charts, flow diagrams and other specification components.

·        Ensure accuracy, completeness, and clarity of specifications.

·        Facilitate the clarification of specification issues as they arise during the software development

·        For larger projects, create and maintain a high-level project plan that tracks the completion and delivery of all IT milestones, including development, quality assurance, documentation, and deployment.

·        For larger projects, work with IT provides regular project status (cost and schedule), milestones, and risk to all stakeholders. Conduct coordination meetings and provides status reports.  May prepare status presentations for executive audience.

·        Ability to work with the business to define a product roadmap and strategy. 

·        Work with minimal supervision, to deliver on schedule, and to coordinate and prioritize multiple job requests.

·        May present specifications to stakeholders.

·        Accomplish all of the above in accordance with standard procedures.

·        Perform all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

·        Undergraduate Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Business, or equivalent work experience.

·        2+ years of related work experience.

·        Financial Services, Mortgage Servicing and Loss Mitigation Experience preferred.

·        Must be extremely detail oriented, a good problem solver, a good listener, articulate (in both writing and verbal communications), and able to handle projects alone and within a group. 

·        Positive attitude, negotiation skills, strong written and oral communication skills are also required.

·        Excellent project management and time management skills.

·        Experience with all aspects of the Software Development Lifecycle; knowledge of successful software development methodologies and best practices.

·        Ability to solve problems across domains (business, functional, technical, and operational).

·        Demonstrated ability to create and maintain large sets of documentation; a high level of proficiency with Microsoft Word or other documentation tools; knowledge of SQL editing tools a plus.

·        Ability to handle change and ambiguity.

·        Effective in a fast paced environment.

·        Self starter/motivator.
